Egg Nests

Cutie cheesy egg nests

This morning, my mom ordered 2 egg nests.
hehe that means she likes it too! ^^

Ingredients:
1. 3 Eggs (separate whites & yolks)
2. 1/4 cup grated Gruyere Cheese
3. 1/4 teaspoon salt

* I kept the yolks inside the egg shells in order to avoid them from sticking to the containers, which may break the yolks.

Method:

1. Preheat the oven to 180C.
2. Beat the whites until stiff peaks form.
3. Gently fold in the cheese. Ooops, don't deflate the whites ;)

4. Make the mounds of egg white mixture on a lined baking sheet.

Do they look like nests?

5. Bake for 3 mintues.
Then gently add an egg yolk to the center of each nest.
Bake for another 3 mintues.

Serve immediately.

(Serve 3)
Since mom and I like them less salty, I reduced the amount of cheese and salt as from the original recipe (which was 1/8 cup of cheese per egg).
It turned out great.  :)
Bon Appetite!
